Have We Not Power

Acts 1:8 (KJV) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 1 Corinthians 9:1-27 (KJV) Have we not power.

Greetings!

This week has been filled with so much prayer that I think that I want to write today's letter about what is underneath or what is inside and what is behind 'PRAYER', at least this is where I'm starting and from here the Holy Spirit tends to take over... praise God for that!

The two scriptures that are the heart of this letter are...

Acts 1:8, KJV... "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

1 Corinthians 9:1-27, KJV... "Have we not power..."

As a preacher, minister, and missionary; prayer is central to the ability to carry out the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Even as a Christian, we all are required to carry out "...the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:" This is Ephesians 4:12-13, KJV.

Let me ask you a question... if you died tonight, do you have the assurance in your heart, that you would go to heaven?

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
—Acts 2:21 (KJV).

This is the most important decision of your life. You receive eternal life by receiving Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord.
